Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Carpenter to join our team at Paradigm Building Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Structural Assembly: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other workers and ensure the smooth execution of construction projects.
  • Project Management: Estimate costs and materials, and maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
