Job Title: Intermediate Environmental Engineer

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Intermediate Environmental Engineer to join our Greenhouse Gas/Sustainability team in Calgary, AB. As an Intermediate Environmental Engineer, you will play a key role in conducting Greenhouse Gas (GHG) verification, quantification, and reporting projects under various regulations and programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify and quantify GHG emissions from various sources, including industrial processes and transportation.
  • Develop and implement GHG reduction strategies and recommendations for clients.
  • Conduct site visits to collect data and verify emission sources.
  • Prepare and submit GHG reports to regulatory agencies and clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation.
  • 5-10 years of experience in environmental consulting, auditing, and GHG quantification/verification.
  • Knowledge of GHG quantification methodologies and environmental regulations in Canada.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
