Position: Millwright
Set the benchmark for excellence as a Millwright. Your proficiency with machinery and equipment, combined with a commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement, will ensure optimal facility operations. You are adept at interpreting drawings, diagrams, construction plans, and blueprints, always prioritizing safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment
- Adhere to established schedules, codes, and procedures while participating in safety and regulatory inspections
- Execute facility repairs and offer technical assistance to operational staff
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and assessments
- Fabricate small parts utilizing plasma cutting and welding techniques
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification with an Interprovincial Red Seal
- A minimum of three years of experience in an industrial environment or similar service work
- Proven knowledge of industrial machinery, including grain handling and cleaning systems, along with a solid grasp of welding, rigging, and mobile equipment operation
- Ability to interpret schematic drawings, equipment diagrams, construction plans, and blueprints
