We are seeking a qualified and experienced Junior/Intermediate School Teacher to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a class of 12 students, following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies, and maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching a class of 12 students
  • Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Ontario Teacher Certification with Junior/Intermediate Qualifications required
  • Teaching experience in the Junior or Intermediate division
  • Additional Qualifications – AQ courses (an asset)
  • Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 9 curriculum
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work experience in the Independent School environment (an asset)
  • Must have experience with Smartboard Technology
  • Must be punctual with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students' understanding
