About the Role

The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a significant role in delivering financial analysis, advice, and lead support to our business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and/or manage financial processes, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Provide financial results reporting and analysis for monthly and quarterly results packages, planning, and forecasting.
  • Offer expertise and advice to leadership on a wide range of financial topics and provide recommendations to enhance the economic value of the business.
  • Lead additional research efforts, applying expertise in financial analysis.
  • Research and review business operating metrics and actively seek to identify and promote new opportunities.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned to provide financial advice and leadership to business and finance partners.

Requirements

  • University degree with an accounting designation (CPA) or MBA.
  • 5+ years of professional financial or experience in a medium to large organization that operates using best practices and performance management processes.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing reporting, planning, and forecasting functions, in a technology or financial services-based organization.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Practical experience providing financial support to a project-intensive organization.
  • Experience using financial and related systems.
