We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Regional Sewer and Watermain Ltd. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to perform various tasks such as excavation, demolition, and backfilling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, and loaders to perform excavation, demolition, and backfilling tasks.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment and refill tanks as needed.
  • Secure special attachments to equipment and perform minor repairs.
  • Operate hydraulic pumping systems and other heavy equipment as required.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail.
  • Physical demands of the job include working outdoors and lifting heavy equipment.
