Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Skyview Contracting is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including selecting trade subcontractors and preparing construction project budget estimates
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors, including planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems, including reading blueprint, schemas, and drawings
  • Plan and manage budgets, including directing the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information, including preparing reports
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction project management
  • College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Computer and technology knowledge, including AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Outlook
