Job Title: Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Bitar Groceries Ltd. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for sale in our supermarket and meat department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cutting and preparing meats to customer specifications
  • Operating band saws and other equipment to cut and trim meats
  • Wrapping and packaging prepared meats for sale
  • Removing bones from meat and cutting poultry into parts
  • Grinding meats and making special sausages
  • Shaping, lacing, and tying roasts and other meats
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a meat cutting or processing environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to cold temperatures. The ability to lift and move heavy objects is also required.
