Cashier Job Description

At Devgon Enterprises Limited, we are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Count and balance cash register at the end of each shift.
  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Participate in promotional activities and suggestive selling.
  • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
