Position Overview

Join our dedicated team at Featherland Farm as a vital member of our agricultural workforce. We are seeking a committed individual to contribute to our farm operations, particularly in the care of ducks and geese.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in farm work ranging from 1 to less than 7 months is preferred.
Work Environment

This role is set in a rural area, primarily focused on the farming of livestock, specifically ducks and geese.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing and collecting brush and debris from various work areas.
  • Monitor the health and well-being of animals under your care.
  • Execute feeding routines for livestock to ensure their nutritional needs are met.
  • Assist in establishing and following farm safety and bio-security protocols.
  • Keep accurate records of livestock performance and health.
  • Perform general farm duties as required.
  • Document daily progress through basic reporting.
Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to work independently and involves physically demanding tasks, including repetitive actions and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
