About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Big Mama's Donair. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and healthy kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods.
  • Take customers' orders and assist with serving.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Will train.
