Job Summary
This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient handling and processing of packages at our distribution center. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, and scanning packages, as well as operating heavy machinery to complete tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from trailers and package cars
- Operate heavy machinery to complete tasks
- Scan packages and update tracking information
- Work in a fast-paced environment to meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to read and memorize postal codes
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
Working Conditions
This role requires working in a warehouse environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity and quality standards.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting hourly rate for this role is $17.30/hour, with opportunities for bonus pay and tuition reimbursement. Overtime pay is available after 5 hours of work.
