Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Support Technician to join our team at Travelodge by Wyndham Downtown Barrie. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks.
  • Configure and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, and internet connectivity.
  • Collaborate with other technical support analysts to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and internet protocols.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
