Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain gas/oil-fired equipment in accordance with manufacturer and company specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ventilation equipment.
  • Complete digital work orders, detailed reports, and daily digital time summaries.
  • Ensure safe working conditions are enforced and strictly adhered to in accordance with company policy.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an HVAC/R service and maintenance position.

Work Experience Requirements:

Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:

  • Must possess G1 Certification (liquid endorsement would be an asset) OBT oil system heating technician optional but would be preferred.
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certification would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of circulating pumps service and maintenance.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance, as well as other site-specific clearances.
  • Experience using mobile technologies would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and work from HVAC, mechanical schematics, electrical schematics, line drawings, etc.
  • Knowledge in a variety of electronic, pneumatic, and DDC control systems an asset.
  • Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to meet deadlines.
