Sales Representative

**Job Summary**
As a Sales Representative - Inside Sales at Wesco, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for interacting with existing customers to increase sales of our products and services, while also identifying new business opportunities and expanding our customer base.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Obtain orders through proactive selling techniques, verifying and entering items, and transferring orders to fulfillment.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to customers, explaining features and benefits, and checking customer buying history.
- Own, qualify, and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
- Identify ways to improve sales processes and customer experience.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations to secure orders, or determine reason for loss of order.
- Review open customer order reports and take action on open items, including those at risk of missing customer delivery dates.
- Maintain distribution system backorder reports, customer expediting reports, and notices.
- Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
**Requirements:**
- High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Requires knowledge and experience in sales and sales administration, with a focus on acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and travel up to 25%.
