Job Summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified Academic Instructor to teach a course on International Relations and Global Politics. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the field and be able to deliver engaging lectures and discussions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a course on International Relations and Global Politics to undergraduate students
  • Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Stay current with developments in the field and incorporate new ideas and perspectives into the course

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Ph.D. coursework in International Relations or a related field
  • Teaching experience in the field of International Relations or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching at the university level
  • Publication record in the field of International Relations
  • Fluency in English and/or French
