Job Summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified Academic Instructor to teach a course on The Physical Environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in physical geography and teaching experience in the subject.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a course on The Physical Environment, covering interactions of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, cryosphere, and biosphere.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the University's academic standards.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of academic programs.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in physical geography or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in physical geography or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
