Job Title: Data Scientist

About the Role:

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for driving strategic decision-making and innovation through advanced data analysis and modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement complex machine learning models and predictive algorithms to forecast marketing trends and optimize strategies.
  • Lead the creation of advanced analytical models and dashboards that provide deep insights into marketing performance, customer behavior, and business operations.
  • Apply cutting-edge data science techniques, including deep learning and artificial intelligence, to solve complex business problems and uncover actionable insights.
  • Perform in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies, transforming raw data into actionable intelligence that drives strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with marketing, IT, and executive teams to integrate data-driven strategies across various business units, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex analytical projects and drive significant business impact.
  • Master degree or higher in Statistics, Business Analysis, Data Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expert analytical skills, including extensive experience with advanced statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling.
  • Proven track record in handling and analyzing large-scale datasets, including experience with big data technologies and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and other relevant programming languages, as well as experience with machine learning frameworks and data science tools.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex data-driven insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing business strategy and decisions.
