Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to transport materials, load and unload trucks and trailers, and perform daily equipment checks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance on the forklift to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movement and optimize storage.
  • Assist with order picking using a variety of equipment, including clamp trucks and order pickers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers.
  • Familiarity with warehouse distribution systems and inventory management.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
  • Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repair.
