Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Specialist to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our Quality Management System (QMS) and maintaining our Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) approval with Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) and other foreign aviation authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of QMS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance.
  • Provide training and support to employees on quality-related topics.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., quality assurance, engineering, business administration).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
