As a vital member of the Quality Assurance division, the Quality Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting compliance oversight and the efficacy of the Quality Management System (QMS). Reporting directly to the Director of Quality Assurance, this position encompasses a range of responsibilities and authority:

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the overall effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Maintaining the organization's Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) certification with relevant aviation authorities.
  • Ensuring the successful retention of certifications such as AS9110C and ISO9001:2015.
  • Acquiring and upholding a comprehensive understanding of applicable Civil Aviation Regulations (CARs).
  • Contributing to the creation and approval of QMS documentation.
  • Providing support to clients regarding quality-related inquiries.
  • Conducting internal investigations and analyses of incidents.
  • Managing the Approved Supplier Listing (ASL) and Quality Surveys.
  • Eventually conducting audits and supporting QMS programs across various sites.
  • Exemplifying behaviors aligned with quality, health and safety, and environmental management practices.

Work Environment

This role requires an understanding that the position may involve:
