Job Title: Food Service Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Opex Foods Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service counter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups, according to our menu and quality standards.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the food service counter, kitchen, and dining area.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Repetitive tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as food preparation and cleaning.
  • Standing for extended periods: Stand for extended periods, including during peak service hours.
  • Work under pressure: Work under pressure to meet customer demands and deadlines.
