Job Title: Food Service Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Opex Foods Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service counter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook simple food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups, according to our menu standards.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, including the food service counter, kitchen, and dining area.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish condiments, supplies, and food items as needed to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve our goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods and move frequently throughout the work area.
  • Work under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet customer demands and deadlines.
