About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Aide to join our team at Summerlea Homes Ltd. As a Nurse Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities
    • Help patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Assist with feeding and serving meal trays
    • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Monitor and Record Vital Signs
    • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment
    • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
    • Supply and empty bed pans
  • Assist with Medical Procedures
    • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
    • Collect specimens
  • Maintain Inventory and Supplies
    • Maintain inventory of supplies
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
      • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
    • Certifications and Licenses
      • First Aid Certificate
      • CPR Certificate
    • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
      • Physically demanding
      • Attention to detail
      • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
