About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Wright Construction Services Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and instruct apprentices in various carpentry tasks and techniques.
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex construction problems.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an Other Trades certificate or diploma program.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Work Setting: Construction and commercial environments.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possession of a Carpenter Red Seal Certificate, Working at Heights training, First Aid Certificate, WHMIS Certificate, and CSTS Certificate.
  • Transportation: Own transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Strong client focus, judgment, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
