Therapeutic Foster Care Team Leader Opportunity

At Woods Homes, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Therapeutic Foster Care Program as a Team Leader. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and meeting the requirements of our Health and Safety Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, including supervising front-line staff and monitoring staff hours.
  • Recruit and supervise staff, including conducting regular supervision and annual evaluations.
  • Assume financial accountability for program expenses and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Participate in meetings, case management reviews, and conferences related to clients, programs, and the agency.
  • Complete required health and safety training and report workplace hazards and incidents to the Program Manager.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, Child Studies, or Addictions.
  • Minimum of four years' experience working with young people and families.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a strong understanding of milieu therapy.
  • Critical thinking skills, clinical problem-solving abilities, and clinical writing skills.
  • Personal suitability and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children, young people, and families.
