Signal Communications Specialist

The Canadian Army is seeking a skilled Signal Communications Specialist to join our team. As a Signal Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating complex communication systems to support the Army's operations.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain wired and wireless communication systems, including radio, satellite, and microwave broadband systems.
- Operate and troubleshoot communication systems, including voice and data systems.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for communication systems, including fibre optic and copper wire broadband technology.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless communication and information exchange.
- Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Grade 10 or Secondaire IV in Quebec, including Grade 10 Applied Math.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
As a Signal Communications Specialist, you will undergo comprehensive training to develop your skills and knowledge. This will include training in communication security policies and procedures, tactical line communications systems, and portable power-generating systems.
Specialized TrainingOpportunities for specialized training are available in areas such as cryptographic equipment, advanced satellite communications systems, and line-of-sight microwave communications systems.
Advanced TrainingAs you progress in your career, you may be eligible for advanced training in areas such as advanced military vehicle operation, advanced telecommunications systems, and leadership and management.
