Job Title: Clinical Dietitian

Join our team of healthcare professionals at Sault Area Hospital as a Clinical Dietitian. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in assessing and implementing evidence-based nutrition interventions in our acute care environment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Dietitian to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing and implementing individualized nutrition care plans, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary care team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop individualized nutrition care plans
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary care team to implement evidence-based nutrition interventions
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust nutrition care plans as needed
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of hospital policies and procedures related to nutrition care
Requirements:
  • Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario in good standing
  • Experience in enteral and parenteral nutrition
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy in a Microsoft environment
