Job Summary

Porter Airlines is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Training Specialist to support our Approved Maintenance Organization by performing functions related to the Technical Operations Training Program and Approved Training Organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and develop technical ATA course modules for the Embraer ERJ, E195-E2 in support of Porter's Approved Training Organization
  • Create written exams for type endorsement training based on the requirements contained within the Canadian Aviation Regulations, Standard 566
  • Deliver theoretical and practical type endorsement training for the Embraer ERJ, E195-E2
  • Develop aircraft technical familiarization courses for internal delivery and delivery to third-party MROs
  • Develop, coordinate, instruct, and assess initial, recurrent, upgrade, and additional training programs to Technical Operations personnel
Requirements
  • A college diploma in aircraft maintenance from a Transport Canada-approved educational facility
  • Holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license
  • DHC-8-Q400 endorsement preferred
  • Embraer experience an asset, E190 family
  • A minimum of five years' experience working within an Approved Maintenance Organization
