Role Responsibilities

The Medical Writing Quality Manager will:

  • Collaborate with Product and Platform teams, as well as other enterprise architects, to design scalable and maintainable technical systems that deliver business value while adhering to the established technology strategy.
  • Lead an Architecture guild, promoting architecture engagement throughout product development, which includes the design, development, and dissemination of reference architecture patterns.
  • Work closely with product and platform owners to create multi-year roadmaps that align with architectural principles and business strategies.
  • Engage with product development teams when strong architectural involvement is essential.
Application Lifecycle Management

The role also involves:

  • Identifying opportunities for application rationalization to streamline the application portfolio in collaboration with Business Unit IT partners.
  • Utilizing architecture tools and datasets to gather and maintain application and technology lifecycle management data.
  • Leading targeted application inventory activities to ensure accurate maintenance of business services and applications.
  • Collaborating with solution leads and other enterprise architects to integrate total cost of ownership findings into annual business planning and portfolio management processes.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A BA/BS degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant business or technology experience.
  • Hands-on experience with various technologies, including public/private cloud, virtualization, AI/ML, IoT, and data warehousing.
  • Proven experience in leading technical discussions and achieving consensus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear architectural diagrams and presentations.
  • A strong ability to foster relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as agile, design thinking, and TOGAF.
  • Knowledge of healthcare processes and terminology.
  • The capability to manage multiple complex projects while ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
