Prolium specializes in the maintenance of above-ground storage tanks across Canada. Our expertise ranges from minor repairs to significant upgrades. We are currently in search of Tank Labourers who are based in the Edmonton region and are open to working throughout Western Canada.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist tradespeople in completing tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Engage in daily safety meetings and toolbox discussions.
  • Utilize various tools and equipment under supervision, including grinders and hydraulic jacks.
  • Perform general work with steel, including grinding and oxy-acetylene tasks.
  • Participate in civil work, such as framing and concrete pouring/finishing.
  • Operate equipment under supervision, including telehandlers and skid-steers.
  • Contribute to emergency rescue efforts as needed.
  • Act as a Confined Space Attendant when required.
  • Assist in the assembly of tank components under guidance.
  • Drive company vehicles, if authorized.
  • Safely operate powered equipment, such as compressors and generators, under supervision.
  • Transport tools and equipment from suppliers or rental locations.
  • Be prepared for physically demanding tasks.
  • Be willing to enter confined spaces and work at heights.
  • Perform other general labour duties as assigned.

Keys to Success:

  • Consistent punctuality is essential.
  • Strong communication skills; fluency in English is required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
  • Adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory.
  • Proof of completion of necessary safety certifications is required.
  • Maintain a positive, proactive, and safety-first attitude.
  • Collaborate with the team to foster a productive and safe work environment.

Safety Ticket Requirements:

  • H2S Alive or Awareness Certification.
  • Confined Space Entry and Monitor or Rescue Certification.
  • CSTS 2020 Certification.
  • WHMIS 2015 Certification.
  • Standard First Aid Certification.
  • Class 5 Driver's License.
