Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our cleaning operations at Gorilla Property Services Maple Ridge. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across our facilities.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and train cleaning personnel or coordinate training sessions.
  • Supervise and manage the activities of cleaning staff.
  • Conduct inspections of sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates for cleaning operations.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Handle payments for specialized cleaning tasks.
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the cleaning team.
Supervision

This position involves supervising 1 to 2 cleaning staff.

Community Support Initiatives

The role includes participation in programs that support newcomers and refugees, assisting with immediate settlement needs, and facilitating access to community resources. The supervisor will also be involved in recruiting individuals affected by conflicts or natural disasters.

Youth Employment Support

In addition, the supervisor will engage in initiatives that promote youth employment, offering tailored on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
