Brewery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Brewery Operations Manager to join our team at Dead Frog Brewery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our brewery, from raw material receipt to finished product delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Production Planning and Control
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor and control production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overheads.
- Quality Assurance
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular quality audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Team Management
- Supervise and train a team of production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate and schedule work activities to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Implement just-in-time inventory management systems to reduce inventory costs and improve efficiency.
- Health and Safety
- Develop and implement health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular health and safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a brewery or related industry
- Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Basic knowledge of brewery operations and quality control procedures
- Work Environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced brewery environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
- Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods
