Position Overview

As a Furniture Assembly Specialist at Domfoam Toronto Inc., you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality furniture and fixtures. Your expertise in assembling components will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation: Prepare, sand, and trim wooden parts for furniture and fixtures.
  • Finishing: Set up and operate finishing machines or apply finishes by hand to enhance the appearance of the furniture.
  • Assembly: Assemble wooden or metal components to create subassemblies and complete products.
  • Reinforcement: Reinforce assembled items using dowels or other supports to ensure durability.
  • Installation: Install hardware on furniture and fixtures to ensure functionality.
  • Quality Inspection: Inspect subassemblies and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
