Responsibilities

  • Oversee train control and signaling operations on construction projects.
  • Conduct daily inspections of completed work.
  • Serve as the liaison and coordinator between contractors and engineered equipment suppliers.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Set budgetary guidelines for projects and ensure adherence to cost control measures.
  • Provide safety training and awareness for all personnel involved.
  • Establish quality standards for all projects and ensure compliance with quality assurance and company standards.
  • Develop and manage project schedules (e.g., three-week, 90-day, manpower loading), coordinate contractor work, and ensure timely inspections.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the construction sector.
  • Proven experience in supervising teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technical train control systems, including underground and above-ground installations.
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with train control engineered equipment suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with various project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Proficient in computer usage, with experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Positive attitude with excellent motivational skills.
  • Capability to access all areas of a construction site.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Compensation: $120,000/yr - $140,000/yr (Actual compensation may vary based on education, experience, skillset, and location).
