Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our Long Term Care team at Fox Ridge Community. As a Personal Support Worker, you will form a deep understanding of your residents and their living experience, providing support with activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming. You will also provide resident care and services, including administering medication under the supervision of a registered health professional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resident supervision and assistance with activities of daily living
  • Provide resident care and services, including administering medication under the supervision of a registered health professional
  • Support resident comfort and well-being, including providing ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution, or be an Internationally Educated Nurse with a degree in Nursing. You will also need to be detail-oriented and proficient in procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatment and providing bedside care to residents.
