About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Mayrose Cornejo. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with laundry and household tasks, freeing up clients' time for other activities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train for the role, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a client-focused approach.
