Job Title: Field Service Technician

At Inspiretci, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, training customers on, and repairing CNC sheet metal fabrication machines, including laser systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and commission CNC equipment at customer sites
  • Provide training and technical support to customers on machine operation and maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair issues with CNC equipment
  • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors via phone, email, or in person
  • Interpret and understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and parts diagrams
  • Place replacement orders for customers as needed
  • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong aptitude with mechanical assemblies, capable of diagnosing issues and disassembling/rebuilding parts
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to lift heavy items
  • Possess a valid passport and willing to travel for service and training purposes
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field
Additional Skills:
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
  • Experience with CNC machinery, particularly Fanuc CNC controls or laser systems
  • Possession of relevant licenses, degrees, or certifications
  • Advanced PC skills, including networking knowledge
Benefits:
  • Bonus: $3,000/year (eligible after 6 months)
  • Mileage reimbursement: $0.55/km
