About the Opportunity
We're seeking a motivated engineering student to join our Manufacturing Technology & Equipment (MTE) Engineering team in St. Brieux, SK. This position would involve providing technical support for manufacturing equipment, developing and documenting standard work instructions, and conducting time studies to develop base times or evaluate processes.
About You
To qualify, you will need to be enrolled in an engineering program (mechanical or industrial focus is preferred) and be eligible for your college's internship/coop program. The following qualifications will be needed to successfully perform this role:
- Knowledge of and interest in current manufacturing technologies
- Understanding of lean methodology and continuous improvements methods
- Strong computer skills, including experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to think critically and analytically
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to (temporarily) relocate to St. Brieux, SK.
