Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement/Community Relations:
Ensure that all customer service benchmarks are met by staff; foster respectful relationships within the community (e.g., local animal shelters)
Oversee a team of employees, which includes recruiting, scheduling, training, daily task assignments, supervision, and coaching
Operational Excellence:
Guarantee that all team members comply with the standards and procedures established at the corporate level
Administrative Duties:
Manage order placements, maintain optimal inventory levels, ensure completion of store and safety audits, coordinate minor repairs, and handle various corporate documentation
Performance Outcomes:
Direct the efforts of store personnel to meet targeted performance metrics

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service and retail management
Passion for learning and growth within the pet care sector
Outgoing and friendly demeanor with excellent customer service capabilities
Ability to adhere to scheduled work hours, including weekends and evenings
Reliable transportation to and from the store
Observe and mentor staff to provide constructive feedback on sales techniques and customer service excellence
Capability to understand and address inter-team conflicts, escalating issues when necessary
