Job Title: Registered Nurse

At St. Boniface General Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent nursing services, including administration of prescribed medical treatments.
  • Lead the healthcare team and coordinate patient care and discharge.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • One year of recent acute Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery and/or acute Medical/Surgical and/or Emergency Nursing experience.
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
  • Current CRNM registration.
  • Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM), is preferred.
  • Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration is required.
  • Successful completion of the Advanced Assessment Course is required.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
