Job Title: Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional registered nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent nursing services, including administration of prescribed medical treatments.
  • Lead the healthcare team and coordinate patient care and discharge.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Recent Labour/Delivery/Recovery nursing experience or one (1) year combined mother-baby care experience required.
  • Recent Operating Room nursing experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of the AORN Periop 101 on-line course or equivalent Operating Room training/experience is preferred.
  • Current CRNM registration required.
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingualism required (ability to understand and speak English/French).
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
