Job Summary

Prairie South School Division No. 210 is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to fill a Casual Bus Driver position. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a school bus on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students, prioritizing their well-being and safety above all else.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students, parents, and school staff.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or 2 driver's license.
  • Successful completion of School Bus Endorsement training.
  • A clean driving record, as determined by the Board.
  • Satisfactory results from a medical examination, in accordance with Board procedure and The Highway Traffic Act.
