AIG is reimagining the way we help customers manage risk, and we're looking for a skilled Executive Underwriter to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goal of unlocking the full potential of our colleagues and adding more value to our customers and AIG.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite new and renewal business in Management Liability, with a focus on Public Company management liability insurance
  • Implement strategies to profitably grow our portfolio and ensure we remain a market leader
  • Manage and service an existing renewal book of Public Company management liability insurance
  • Pricing analysis using data analytics and modeling tools
  • Build, solidify, and lead broker and client engagements to produce new business
  • Develop and maintain broker and client relationships through in-person and virtual engagement
  • Drive change management by institutionalizing underwriting, service, and process improvements
Requirements:
  • Proven Management Liability underwriting experience (5+ years)
  • Organized, highly motivated, self-starter who takes responsibility for own performance and demonstrates leadership in their approach to work, training, and knowledge seeking
  • CFA/CIP/FCIP/CRM designation is considered an asset
  • Fluency in French is considered an asset
