Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Special Orders: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Quality Control: Bake mixed dough and batters to ensure high-quality products, and prepare special orders to meet customer requirements.
- Customer Service: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet customer expectations, and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Operations Management: Draw up production schedules to ensure efficient bakery operations, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
