We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Raj Painting & Construction Ltd. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces are in good condition.
- Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and tools.
- Equipment Operation: Operate roller painting equipment and other machinery as required.
As a Painter with Raj Painting & Construction Ltd, you will work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial settings. You will be required to work at heights, and in confined spaces, and will be exposed to dust, fumes, and other hazardous materials.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work at heights.
- Personal Qualities: Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
