We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at A1 Quality Land Clearance Inc. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces remain in good condition.
- Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for painting and finishing projects, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in painting and finishing.
- Skills: Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, ability to distinguish between colors, and physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
