As a key player in this mission, the Assistant Process Engineer will engage in various responsibilities aimed at optimizing processes within the Bureau of Wastewater Treatment (BWT), which oversees numerous facilities dedicated to sewage treatment across the city.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Oversight and Optimization:
Monitor facility operational data, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting. Prepare routine regulatory reports and track process metrics to support operational efficiency. - Process Modeling:
Utilize advanced modeling software to simulate operational scenarios, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies. - Information Systems Management:
Leverage expertise in WIMS, CLAROS, and SCADA systems to enhance data analysis and operational monitoring. - Facility Maintenance Support:
Assist in the calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation, ensuring optimal performance of wastewater treatment facilities. - Environmental Stewardship:
Engage in data collection and analysis related to air emissions and odor control, contributing to the development of effective environmental management strategies. - Leadership and Collaboration:
Participate in team meetings, analyze data, and contribute to the continuous improvement of facility operations.
Qualifications:
