Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Expert to join our team at National Bank of Canada (NBC). As a key member of our Wealth Management Solutions team, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of financial planning advisors, estate planning advisors, and analysts in providing support and assistance to our wealth management advisors in the province.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of approximately 15 employees in providing financial planning, estate planning, and tax services to our wealth management advisors.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of our wealth management services is well-aligned with our relational and entrepreneurial model, while meeting the needs of our customers.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of our expert services.
  • Client Support: Participate in client meetings and support the team in files to ensure excellent client service.
  • Team Development: Develop and implement plans to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality services to our clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategies and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Holding a TEP title/accreditation or in financial planning (FP Canada, CFP) or a master's degree in finance or actuarial science or a master's degree or Diploma of Studies superior and specialized in taxation.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the field of financial and estate planning or in wealth transfer.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of the wealth management industry, excellent understanding of the reality of wealth management advisors, experience in team management, ability to develop multidisciplinary teams, and experience in wealth or business transfer.
