We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hygiene Health & Safety Technician to join our team at Englobe.
Key Responsibilities- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules and regulations.
- Coordinate and complete assigned activities related to environmental projects, including surveys, investigations, and assessments.
- Supervise and verify site remediation activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Prepare and analyze data, and participate in technical report and proposal writing.
- Participate in project meetings, office meetings, and health and safety inspections, maintaining a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, conducting project administration tasks as required.
- University degree or college diploma in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant environmental assessment/field experience.
- Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) or Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) or Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) is preferred.
- Working knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and experience in supervising contractors.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to complete work within established timeframes.
- Team-oriented and excellent communicator, with a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
